Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians, 13:4-7
Okay, so this passage is written so perfectly and it’s something most of us truly want from each other. But, why is it so hard nowadays to achieve? By the way, this can go for anything from family and friends, not just romantic relationships.
If this is what we all want, why do we make it so hard?! It’s the simple things in life that we should appreciate and cherish. We should never regret the love we gave away freely. But, why is it so easy for some people to become so cold after a relationship ends? We become strangers to one another but the only thing we create in ourselves is anger for not being able to change the past nor the future that was planed by us.
God really has a great sense of humor if you pay attention. How manny times have we made plans but he turns things around in an instant? Do you turn your back at him? Of course not! So why do we continue to do that to each other? Life goes on and sometimes things aren’t meant to be, but only because God has greater plans for us…
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
1 Corinthians 13:8-10
So what does this mean to you? Hmmm Love never ends? Maybe it never ends, but it fades away. At least, if you think love is measurable…
If this is supposed to be achievable, then I’m sure anyone can accomplish it, right?
I believe society has brain washed a lot of people. Almost everything and anything comes easy to us nowadays. Maybe thats why we think its easier for us to give up on just anything. DON’T be fooled by society and learn to be your own original masterpiece. Hard things come with better outcomes! Easy things have consequences and can become vicious and never ending cycles.
